The PROGRESSION project was presented at the IHSOS Forum 2025 – International Forum for Humanitarian, Social and Health Synergies, held under the auspices of St. Elizabeth University of Health and Social Sciences, Bratislava.
With this year’s central theme “Trauma, Resilience and Equity in a Fragile World,” the forum brought together experts, researchers, and practitioners from across disciplines and countries, creating a unique international platform for dialogue at the intersection of health, social sciences, and humanitarian practice.
PROGRESSION was introduced within the section Midwifery and Determinants of Health, highlighting how innovative AR/VR-based educational approaches can strengthen professional competencies in maternal care and contribute to resilience, equity, and quality of care in perinatal health systems.
The IHSOS Forum represents a strategic integration of two major international conferences – the 5th International Health Conference (IHCO) and the 9th Conference on Social Pathology among Youth and Adults (SPAY) – serving as a bridge between health-focused and socially oriented research communities. Participation in IHSOS Forum 2025 marks an important milestone for PROGRESSION, reinforcing its international relevance, interdisciplinary reach, and commitment to advancing modern midwifery education through emerging technologies.
