Installation of the PROGRESSION application:
Simple ways to install an APK on Meta Quest 3
Option 1: Use SideQuest
1. Install **SideQuest** on your computer.
2. Enable **Developer Mode** for your Quest 3 in the Meta Horizon mobile app.
3. Connect the Quest 3 to your computer with a USB cable.
4. Put on the headset and accept the **USB debugging** message.
5. Open SideQuest.
6. Drag and drop the `.apk` file into SideQuest.
7. Wait until the installation finishes.
To open the app on the Quest 3:
1. Open **App Library**.
2. Select **Unknown Sources**.
3. Start the app.
Option 2: Use Meta Quest Developer Hub
1. Install **Meta Quest Developer Hub** on your computer.
2. Enable **Developer Mode** on the Quest 3.
3. Connect the headset with a USB cable.
4. Accept the USB debugging message in the headset.
5. Open **Meta Quest Developer Hub**.
6. Select your headset.
7. Choose the option to install or upload an APK.
8. Select your `.apk` file.
Then open the app under:
**App Library → Unknown Sources**
Option 3: Use an APK installer inside the headset
1. Install a file manager or APK installer on the Quest 3 first.
2. Copy the APK file to the headset.
3. Open the file manager in the headset.
4. Select the APK file.
5. Confirm the installation.
This method usually still requires Developer Mode and may need a first installation through SideQuest or a computer.
Recommended method
Use **SideQuest**.
It is the simplest method for most users because you do not need to type commands. You only connect the headset, accept USB debugging, and drag the APK file into the app.
Quick checklist
Before installing:
* Developer Mode is enabled.
* Quest 3 is connected with a USB data cable.
* USB debugging is accepted inside the headset.
* The APK file comes from a trusted source.
After installing:
**App Library → Unknown Sources → Open app**
